I volunteer with a rescue organization and have fostered 42 dogs to date. I’ve only kept one, Josie, who grew from a 12 pound puppy to a 90 pound beauty. Nobody knew she was a Leonberger! The other pic is Waylon, the love of my life and the dog who started it all.
The first two pics are of my black and white Border Collie Mix Waylon, who, as a rescued dog who was so dirty the vet called him “Pigpen” (together for 7 years)
This one is of Josie when she was just 5 months old. She kept on
growing and can now hug me (5’8”) outright. Sweetest dog ever, and
silly.

We just rescued this sweet young lady; we named her Pawla. She was neglected and/or abondened…? Unsure but she was emaciated, broken foot, mange, etc… Poor thing is only between 6-8 months old. She is a Lover dog and only wants attention and LOTS and LOTS of hugs and kisses. She is super easy to train and we can’t imagine that someone had mistreated her; but we were fortunate enough to find her through Save a Mutt Shelter :) Rags to Riches for this little princess! Happy tails fur everyone!

This first photo is me (Theresa) and my rescue coon hound, Linus Van Pelt, reading together on my Kindle. He is a fantastic neck warmer.
The second is me with my other rescue coon hound, Cora Belle, on Christmas morning. She is wearing her new Christmas collar.
