The first is me and my dog Dante, a Labradoodle. He appears belligerent about the camera but we are good friends.
The second is my sister Rhiannon and her dog Loki. He loves hugs, very warm ones which tend to leave the recipient covered in hair. So worth it. The black lab in the photo is Pippin, a childhood pet who died recently at the age of eight. We miss him.
The last picture is my brother Connor and his puppy George, who has grown into a handsome young poodle dog. He still requires copious cuddles, however.

This is a picture of me and my dog, Murdoch, snuggling and taking a nap. My girlfriend and Murdoch’s other mom, Arielle, took the picture. Murdoch is an adopted Pointer, but we think he’s about 3 years old. He hopes we get to be on your blog! :O)

All the pictures! Send them to me!
I don’t know about you guys, but it is winter here, and I need to see cute pictures of dogs and people hugging them to get me through this bitterly cold and soul crushing season, so that whilst I am trudging through the snow, face frozen, I can imagine soft fur and sloppy wet dog kisses.
So, send me your pictures of dog hugs, (especially if you live in sunnier climes)!
We got Luka from a shelter a few days before her kill-date, and she seemed to love us all the more for it. She took to that carrot like it was her long-lost sister vegetable!

This is me (Kassia) hugging my wonderful corgi Sassy. She is a cuddleworm, and loves hugs, and might actually just be love in the shape of a stubby-legged dog. The second picture is my boyfriend getting a kiss/hug combination.

This is my new puppy! I got her at the animal shelter
and the vet didn’t know what the mix is.
She has grown a bunch since this pic.
She also has a huge chest from shoulder to shoulder.
As of today she is 40 pounds.
The vet thought she is a lab mix??I don’t think so
IMHO. I see more shepard and I’m thinking rottweiler?
Whatcha think?

Here’s my boyfriend Cormac hugging my family dog, Dexter. Dexter’s a tiny bichon frise who’s almost 3 but hasn’t grown a lot. I love this pic as it shows how content Dexter is being hugged by Cormac. Aww. Some day we hope to give a home to a dog from a shelter. Until then, frequent visits to Dexter give us our dog-hug fix.

Divyangana and her family adopted Don, a two-year-old Golden Retriever, about a week ago. His previous owner told her Don was prone to chewing sheets and leaving destruction in his wake, but so far he’s been as good as gold and doesn’t even climb on to the bed unless coaxed with petting and hugs.

After spending so many years wanting a dog of my own, I finally got Gigi in June 2008.

This is my and my Jazz. She’s nine now, a part-Collie rescue who was terrified of everything when we first found her at the RSPCA six years ago but is now a little badass. Her favourite spot is her head on my shoulder.
